I can say unequivocally that a 5 Rating isn't nearly enough. The food is simply beyond description of goodness. We experienced an example of excellence with Gina as our waitress. It's no wonder this place is so famous and so loved. By all means treat yourself.

Country Tavern has the BEST RIBS I have ever had. All their BBQ is delicious They have awesome sides and desserts as well. You won't be disappointed coming here to eat. We drive almost an hour to come to Country Tavern when we are in east Texas.

Delicious ribs, sausage, and brisket. The potato casserole is so good. Love their BBQ sauce too. Ice cold beer and great service. Who could ask for more.

The ribs were good. The brisket was good. The sausage was good. The spicy macaroni was good. The young lady that, helped me. She was the only one that! even spoke to me or even smiled. Thank you, today was my first visit. I sat at the bar with the black cowboy hat on. Thank you ma'am for being so nice.

BBQ can be a controversial topic; how long to smoke, what kind of sauce, or sweet or savory. Country Tavern will make you a believer in a quality BBQ. From the chopped beef sandwich to the jalapeno mac and cheese, everything is worth trying. They have a variety of sides that most BBQ restaurants do not, which I found very refreshing. They have one BBQ sauce that is phenomenal, if you can get past eating the meat without it. The ribs are fall off the bone and the turkey is one of the juiciest we've ever had. Make sure to come hungry because the portions are also very generous. #GoogleGal
